David Hogg is Mercilessly Controlled by CNN Handlers
In the diminishing wake of the latest gun control debate, it’s worth remembering the sinister statements of Rohm Emanuel. The ranking advisor for the Obama administration said, “You never want to let a good crisis go to waste.”
It’s a good thing to keep in mind anytime the left goes crazy for some made up moral crisis or another. Why? Because, as you may have noticed, they don’t have any solutions. They are half of the political system of the United States and they run on nothing but outrage and social justice causes. They don’t want to fix anything, because that would put them out of a job.
Consider gay rights, for example. After they won the gay marriage issue, they went straight on into promoting transgender bathrooms and rights for pedophiles. We hate to say we told you so…
Okay, so what are we going on about? What we’re going on about is the fact that in order to perpetuate phony problems, you need stooges. Over the many years, the left has had many stooges. Race baiters both misled and cynical have convinced Americans that half the nation wants to chain 17% of the population to the back of perfectly good farm equipment- as if the farm equipment isn’t better off without them.
The misled, who Vladamir Lenin referred to as “useful idiots,” are those who believe the lies of the left and repeat the exaggerations they are expected to repeat when called upon to do so. The cynical, like Jesse Jackson, pull their own puppet strings to promote their own careers.
This brings us to our subject, Mr. David Hogg.
The young Mr. Hogg appeared when CNN staged its phony town hall in which participants displayed supreme disdain for NRA spokeswoman Dana Loesch. Loesch did her best to speak reasonably while emotional participants shouted things like, “Burn her!” Seriously, you can’t make this stuff up.
But Hogg was the primary face of the movement which the left- who wanted nothing more than to shame anyone who did not immediately throw away their guns after the Florida shooting. The purest distillation of their message is, ‘if you still support the 1st Amendment, you must hate the children.’
The urge to ban guns, it’s an easy mistake to fall into- if you’re ignorant of history, emotional, and have an immature mind. Not surprisingly, teenagers are exactly that, making them convenient stooges for a leftist media agenda. So, it’s not surprising that a Hogg-type figure should emerge from the tragedy. What is surprising, or at least somewhat distressing, is the fact that he appears to be acting under a great deal of guidance from behind the scenes CNN handlers.
Some questions about Hogg’s validity as a spokesperson for gun control began to surface after a video of him giving inconsistent accounts of the shooting emerged. The slip up is distilled into a montage where he says his sister lost four friends in one clip, two friends in another clip, three in a subsequent clip, and again two in yet another clip.
In another clip from the paparazzi site TMZ, David Hogg’s mother admits to reporters that the child gun control advocates from the Parkland shooting have not been given time to grieve, that they have been pushed hard from behind to publicly support gun control.
She told reporters, “In fact, this morning, people from CNN came to pick up David and couldn’t get a hold of him, and so, we were concerned.” The concerned mother went on, “He was just conked out, sound asleep, and so, I said to him, ‘Please don’t worry, you are seventeen years old, and you need to rest, you have to do your self-care, so you can be as good as you can be to get the word out there.”
What’s hard for many people to understand is that these children, who have been shoved up in front of cameras every day since the shooting, endure a grueling schedule which they do not control. It’s easy to underestimate the amount of preparation that goes into a television appearance and the emotional toll it takes on a person, especially when contentious issues are at state.
The inevitable picture is one that became clear early on when Parkland student Colton Haab told reporters that CNN shoved a script into his hand which he refused to go along with. He was quickly blacked out from the spotlight, while at the same time, the other Parkland survivors have been prodded on like sweatshop workers.
