Two Heroes the Mainstream Media Won’t Tell You About

While we’re all distracted with the impeachment circus, real news is taking place. Our country is vast, and harrowing tales unfold every day. One of the most amazing things about America is that it is filled with everyday heroes — people who risk their lives to defend others.

In fact, there are two new stories about just such things that you need to know about. In each case, an armed citizen risked their own life in the defense of others. Both stories have a happy ending. Read them if you want to feel encouraged or hopeful.

A Hero in Atlanta

Joseph Chilton’s job is to deliver bread to stores. When he got to Hardee’s in Ellenwood, Georgia early in the morning, he saw employees fleeing the restaurant through the back door.

It didn’t take this hero long to recognize the situation and commit to taking action. He grabbed the firearm that he keeps in his truck and moved to encounter the armed robber who was holding employees at gunpoint.

Chilton and the robber exchanged fire. Only the armed robber was hit in the exchange, and he tried to limp away. Because of his injuries, it was easy for police to catch up to him and make an arrest.

The criminal has been treated for his injuries. No one died, and only the robber was harmed. This sounds like a pretty big win for good guys with guns. Thank you for your heroics, Joseph Chilton!

Armed Robbery in Florida

Donovan Stewart is a 60 year old man who lives in Miami. He was in his van with his 11 year old son and girlfriend. They were minding their own business when a man with a gun forced his way into the van.

Unwilling to subject his family to danger, Stewart responded to the overt violence by drawing his own weapon. The attacker was shot and killed on sight.

Police have stated that Stewart did the right thing, and they expect his actions to be deemed self-defense when the investigation formally concludes.

It turns out that there’s a little more to this story. The man who attacked Stewart had violently robbed another person that same day. He was a serial attacker, and it’s very likely that he could have killed an innocent person if Stewart didn’t put an end to the spree. He saved more than the lives of his family with his courage and quick action.

Both of these stories took place within the last week. Left-wing media wants you to believe that only bad people have guns. They want you to believe that guns make your life more dangerous. They parrot stats that claim owning a gun makes you more likely to be accidentally shot. They do all of this while ignoring real, everyday stories of heroic Americans.

Incidents like these happen every single day. Only an idiot would want to give up their right to self-defense if they knew this. Make sure these stories get spread across the nation. Share them with every liberal you can find, and never let anyone tell you that the American people should voluntarily disarm.
