Black Man Uses Gun to Save Family from Crazed White Man

Ask a liberal to describe a typical gun owner in the United States, and most likely they would reference President Barack Obama callous statement referring to them as scared white people who desperately cling to their guns and their Bibles. Why it would be bad to seek refuge in the good book and embrace the Second Amendment is something Obama never bothered explaining, likely due to his comments having no substance.

Ask liberals, particularly in urban centers, why someone would need to own a firearm or carry a handgun, and many will tell you: It’s just white folk who are afraid of people of color who have irrational fears of minorities. Yet, reality often proves that narrative to be wholly false.

Take the case of Dominic Rozier in Louisville, Kentucky. He used a lawfully carried handgun to defend himself, his wife and son against a crazed white supremacist. The crazed white man, Gregory Bush, just minutes earlier was deterred from entering a black church with the apparent intent of inflicting mass murder.

A locked door thwarted Bush’s attempt, so he went to a local Kroger grocery store, where he shot and killed two elderly blacks and targeted Rozier and his family. Bush made threats against Rozier, his wife and their son, after already murdering two elderly blacks. Rozier rightfully drew his firearm and exchanged fire with Bush. Rozier’s heroic act clearly saved lives by stopping a crazed gunman.

A grand jury indicted Bush on two murder counts, a criminal attempted murder charge and two counts of wanton endangerment. Jefferson County Commonwealth attorney Tom Wine said Rozier does not face any charges. Wine said the commonwealth is considering the death penalty for Bush, but is awaiting word from the surviving family members of the two slain victims before pursuing it.

News reports do not indicate whether Rozier had a CCW license or if he was carrying openly. Either way, Rozier is a clear thinking U.S. citizen who properly exercised his Second Amendment right to own and carry firearms. He used his firearm to stop a murderous criminal attack.

It is horrific that two elderly citizens lost their lives. Fortunately, the fact that Bush could not enter a likely gun-free zone to inflict mass casualties at a mostly black church forced him to go where citizens can carry firearms and use them in self-defense. But for the one armed good guy, Bush clearly would have murdered more people.

Rozier’s heroic act runs contrary to the liberal notion that no good guys with guns ever stop mass shootings. It also proves that people of color have a very legitimate reason to support and embrace the Second Amendment. Those who do so legally are perfectly capable of stopping murderous acts in their communities. Clearly, the Second Amendment benefits people from all walks of life.

The liberal narrative that only crazy white males want to own and carry firearms in order to use them in some eventually horrific act against others dates back at least a decade.

Back in 2008, while running for president, then-Senator Obama told a San Francisco crowd: “You go into some of these small towns in Pennsylvania, and like a lot of small towns in the Midwest, the jobs have been gone now for 25 years and nothing’s replaced them. And they fell through the Clinton Administration, and the Bush Administration, and each successive administration has said that, somehow, these communities are gonna regenerate, and they have not.”

According to Obama, a loss of jobs spurred a kneejerk reaction in which white people suddenly clung to their Bibles and guns for solace: “And it’s not surprising then they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren’t like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations,” Obama ignorantly stated.

Of course, Obama and Democrats did nothing to help poor people of any color – other than give them excuses as to why they could not find any jobs. Those excuses included blatant falsehoods since proven wrong, such as 2 percent annual GDP being the “new norm,” and claims that manufacturing jobs will not return to the United States.

Since taking over for Obama, President Donald Trump and the GOP enacted policies that drove the GDP to over 3.5 percent and topping 4 percent at times, and 1,000 new manufacturing jobs are being filled every day.

And, Rozier just proved that armed citizens of color fully benefit from the Second Amendment, and a good guy with a gun absolutely can stop murderous acts.
